How to choose a hair clipper?
A good home hair clipper doesn't have to cost hundreds of euros — what matters is choosing one that fits how you'll use it. Here's what to look at before buying.
Cordless or corded? A cordless clipper is more convenient for everyday use: no cable in the way, you can cut hair anywhere, and it charges via USB. All clippers at FIT2 are cordless with a rechargeable battery.
Cutting lengths and guide combs. If you only buzz down to the shortest setting, a basic clipper is enough. If you want different lengths (shorter on the sides, longer on top), choose a model with interchangeable guide combs — for example, a cordless clipper with 4 combs.
Blades. Stainless steel or ceramic blades stay sharp longer and pull less. ENCHEN models (Sharp-X, Hunter) have self-sharpening blades — no oiling or sharpening needed.
Battery and display. If you cut the whole family's hair, a longer runtime and a charge indicator come in handy. The Berdsen BD-260 Barber Master has an LCD showing remaining charge and 3 speeds for different hair thickness.
Don't forget the details. A regular clipper isn't suited for nose and ear hair — that's a job for a compact dedicated trimmer like the ENCHEN Mocha N Plus, which is washable under running water.
Which one is right for you? An occasional trim at home — the most affordable cordless clipper with combs. Regular cuts for the whole family — ENCHEN Sharp-X or Hunter with self-sharpening blades. Closest to the barbershop experience — Berdsen Barber Master. See all clippers in person at the FIT2 store in Vilnius Outlet or order online with fast delivery.
