Hausberg HB-7678 Milk Frother and Warmer, Stainless Steel, 2 Whisks, 500-600 W

The Hausberg HB-7678 is a stainless-steel milk frother and warmer that brings the coffee shop home. Two whisks are supplied – one for frothing milk and one for heating it – so you can make cold froth, hot froth or simply warm milk for cappuccino, latte and hot chocolate. Milk is heated to approximately 65 ±5 °C, the ideal drinking temperature, and a cycle takes about 120 seconds. The jug sits on a 360° rotating base and an NTC thermostat keeps the temperature under control.

Capacities and cycle times

The minimum quantity of cold milk for frothing is 60 ml. Always fill at least to the MIN mark inside the jug and never past the MAX mark – milk rises sharply while it is heated and whipped and will overflow.

How to use

1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface. Choose the required whisk and fit it firmly onto the shaft at the base of the jug.
2. Pour in the milk according to the MIN and MAX marks inside the jug and the table above.
3. Put the lid on firmly, place the jug on the base and plug the appliance in.
4. Frothing with heating or heating: press the On/Off button. The blue and red indicator lights come on. When the cycle ends the blue light goes out and the red one flashes for 30 seconds.
5. Frothing cold milk: press and hold the button for 1–2 seconds to switch cycles. The blue light comes on and flashes for 30 seconds when the cycle ends.
6. After every cycle wait 2 minutes for the thermostat to rest, otherwise the appliance will not start. To shorten this time, rinse the jug with cold water and wipe it dry.

Tips. The best froth comes from whole milk with a fat content above 3.0 %. Froth or heat the milk first and prepare your coffee or chocolate while the appliance is running. Keep the whisks in a safe place – they are small and easily misplaced.

Important — safety

• The appliance is designed for milk and milk drinks only. It is not intended to thicken or heat cream, custard, gravies, water or other food substances. Never switch it on without liquid.
• Do not immerse the jug, the base, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if it has been dropped or malfunctions. It contains no user-serviceable parts – any repair must be carried out by a qualified person.
• Burn hazard: the milk and the jug get hot. Hold the jug by the handle only, lift the lid carefully and away from you, and pour hot milk with care.
• Do not leave the appliance running unattended. Always unplug it after use and before cleaning.
• Place the appliance only on a clean, dry, level surface, away from the edge of a bench or table, not on a sink or drain board or on polished wood. The cord must not hang over the edge, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.
• Do not place the appliance on or near a gas or electric burner, or near a heated oven.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by an external timer or a separate remote control system.
• For household use indoors only. Do not use outdoors, in moving vehicles or on boats, or for any purpose other than the intended one.
• Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities and children may use the appliance only under supervision or after proper instruction; children must not play with it.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA in the supplying circuit is recommended.

Cleaning and care

The appliance and its accessories are NOT dishwasher safe. Clean them immediately after every use – dried-on milk is hard to remove and encourages bacterial growth.

1. Switch the appliance off, unplug it and let it cool down.
2. Take the jug off the base and separate the silicone ring from the lid.
3. Flush the inside of the jug with warm soapy water; rinse the lid and the silicone ring in warm water, using detergent if necessary.
4. Wash the whisks in warm soapy water, dry them thoroughly and store them in a safe place.
5. Clean the outside of the jug and the base with a soft damp cloth only. Never use harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials.

Parts in contact with food are covered by Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 and plastic parts by Regulation (EU) 10/2011. Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety also applies.
• WEEE (2012/19/EU): do not dispose of the appliance with household waste — take it to an electrical and electronic waste collection point or return it to the seller.
• Sort the packaging: cardboard and paper to paper collection, film to plastic collection.
