A non-contact infrared thermometer for body and object temperature. The reading appears in 1 second from a distance of 0-3 cm, without touching the skin and without waking a sleeping child. The large backlit colour LCD warns by colour: green for normal, orange for elevated and red for fever. In object mode it measures milk, food, water or room temperature from 0 to 100 °C. The thermometer stores the last 35 readings, runs on two AAA batteries and offers a silent mode and automatic shutdown.
FIT2 Meditech is a non-contact infrared thermometer for everyday use at home. A sensitive infrared sensor reads the heat radiating from the forehead at a distance of 0-3 cm and shows the result in one second, so the temperature can be taken even from a sleeping baby.

How to measure
Wipe sweat, hair and cosmetics off the forehead and let the thermometer settle to room temperature first. Point the sensor at the centre of the forehead from 0-3 cm and press the measuring button. For accurate results, do not measure immediately after bathing, physical activity or exposure to a draught.
