A passive 1.5 m adapter cable: HDMI plug → 3 x RCA (yellow for video, white and red for audio). One-way from HDMI to RCA. It contains no signal converter, so you get a picture only if the source device can output an analogue signal through its HDMI port.

A passive 1.5 m adapter cable with an HDMI plug at one end and three RCA plugs at the other – yellow for video, white and red for audio. It connects a device with an HDMI output to older equipment that only has analogue RCA inputs. Works as soon as it is plugged in, no drivers needed.
Important. The cable contains no signal converter and is not powered. It carries the signal in one direction only – from HDMI to RCA – and only if the source device is able to output an analogue signal through its HDMI port. It does not convert a digital HDMI picture into an analogue one. If your device outputs a digital signal only, you need an active HDMI-to-AV converter with its own power supply.
