Hausberg HB-1525NG Single Burner Induction Cooker 2000W

The Hausberg HB-1525NG is a powerful single burner induction cooker, ideal as a main or extra hob at home, in a studio or while travelling. With 2000 W of power and an A-grade crystal glass surface it heats quickly and efficiently while staying easy to clean. Induction heats the pan itself rather than the plate, so there is no flame, no smoke and an efficiency of up to 93 %. The touch panel lets you set the power or the temperature between 60 and 280 °C, and adds a timer and a button lock. Built-in safety features include over-heat protection, pan detection and automatic shut-off within one minute when no cookware is detected.

Choosing the right cookware

• Use only cookware whose base is suitable for induction — look for the induction symbol on the packaging or the base of the pan.
• Magnet test: a magnet must stick to the base of the pan. If you have no magnet, put some water in the pan, switch the cooker on and check after 3 minutes whether the water is heating up.
• Not suitable: pure stainless steel, aluminium and copper without a magnetic base, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic and earthenware.
• The base must be smooth and flat, sitting flush against the glass and matching the size of the cooking zone. Always centre the pan. Do not use pans with jagged edges or a curved base.
• The base must be at least 12 cm across — a smaller pan is not detected and the cooker shows error E0.
• Always lift pans off the plate, never slide them — sliding scratches the glass.

How to use

• Place a suitable pan in the centre of the cooking zone and plug the cooker in — the power indicator lights up.
• Press On/off, then use Power/Temp. to choose the power or the temperature mode, and set the value with + and −.
• Timer: while cooking press Timer and set the shut-off time with + or −. One press changes it by 1 minute, a long press by 10 minutes; the setting is confirmed after 5 seconds without input.
• Lock: one press of Lock blocks every button except On/off; hold Lock for 3 seconds to unlock.
• To finish, press On/off and unplug the cooker. Do not pull the plug straight away — let the cooling fan run for at least 15 seconds.

Important — safety

• If the glass surface cracks, switch the appliance off immediately — there is a risk of electric shock.
• Do not put metal objects on the plate — knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans or foil: they get hot.
• Leave at least 5–10 cm of free space around the cooker and do not block the air inlet or outlet.
• Do not place the cooker on a metal surface, a carpet, vinyl or any other material with poor heat resistance, and do not put paper between the pan and the plate.
• Do not heat an empty pan. The surface stays hot for some time after cooking — do not touch it.
• Do not plug the cooker into a socket that already has several other appliances connected to it. Do not use it with a damaged cord or a plug that does not fit.
• Do not modify or repair the appliance yourself; the cord may only be replaced by a qualified technician.
• Do not use it near an open flame or in damp places. Place it on a stable, even surface.
• The appliance generates a magnetic field and can affect radios, televisions, bank cards and magnetic tapes — keep them away from it.
• The appliance may be used by children from 8 years of age and by persons with reduced capabilities only under supervision or after proper instruction; keep the appliance and its cord away from children under 8. Children must not play with it.

Error codes

• E0 — no pan, unsuitable material or base smaller than 12 cm
• E1 / E2 — mains voltage below 85 V or above 275 V
• E3 / E7 — surface sensor fault; call a service
• E4 — surface above 280 °C (uneven or dry pan base); let the cooker cool down
• E5 — over-heat protection (IGBT above 105 °C); check the air vents and the fan
• E6 — IGBT sensor fault; call a service
• EC — communication failure between the control and main boards; call a service

Care

• Clean after every use: unplug the cooker and let it cool down.
• Wipe the glass plate with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive sponges or scouring products — they scratch the glass.
• Clean the ventilation openings with a toothbrush or a piece of cotton and keep insects out of the unit.
• Only professionals may repair the appliance.

• The appliance complies with Directives 2014/35/EU (LVD), 2014/30/EU (EMC) and 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and carries the CE mark.
• WEEE (2012/19/EU): do not dispose of the appliance with household waste — take it to an electrical and electronic waste collection point or return it to the seller.
