Before first use

Wash the pots, then boil water with lemon juice in them and pour it out. This removes manufacturing residues and prepares the steel surface.

Important — how to keep the set looking new

• Do not heat empty pots — the bottom may discolour.
• Do not put salt into cold water. Add salt only once the water boils and stir it in, otherwise white marks are left on the bottom.
• On a gas hob, match the burner to the size of the pot. A flame that reaches up the sides can melt the plastic handles.
• The pots get hot while cooking and, with the lids on, so do the handles — use oven gloves and lift full pots by both handles at once.
• Do not pour cold water over a hot vessel and do not cool the glass lid quickly under cold water — it may crack. Let everything cool to room temperature before washing.
• Wash with a sponge and dishwashing liquid; do not use sharp brushes or abrasive cleaners. Wipe the dishes after washing to avoid water marks.
• The dishes are not suitable for use in ovens and microwaves. Do not use any item that is damaged.
