Hausberg HB-6040GR – sparkling water at home in seconds

With the Hausberg HB-6040GR soda maker, enjoy fresh sparkling water whenever you like – with no preservatives, no additives and no dependence on electricity. Simply press the button and plain water turns into a refreshing fizzy drink. You can flavour the prepared sparkling water with fruit syrups or fresh fruit to taste.

How to use

• Place the soda maker on an even, horizontal surface away from the edge of the worktop. It must always stand upright.
• Open the detachable upper part and screw in the carbon dioxide cylinder (or connect a larger tank through an adapter).
• Fill the bottle with plain water between the MIN and MAX marks.
• Insert the bottle into the nozzle and turn it clockwise until tight.
• Press the push button to start carbonating. When you hear the buzzing sound, release the button immediately.
• Unscrew the bottle anti-clockwise, then unscrew the cylinder and detach it.
• Some ice may appear in the water during carbonation — this is normal and it will melt.

Important — safety

• Carbonate plain water only. If the water contains sugar or other compounds, the valves could malfunction and the product could become dangerous to use. Add syrup, fruit or any other flavour only AFTER carbonation.
• Never carbonate for more than 5 seconds at a time — it can lead to gas waste or personal injury.
• This appliance shall not be used by children under 12 years old. Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Never use water below 5 °C or above 40 °C.
• Do not carbonate an empty bottle or when the water level is not between the MIN and MAX marks.
• Do not move the appliance while it is carbonating and do not uninstall the cylinder or the bottle while it is operating.
• Never put the water bottle in the freezer and never use a bottle that is deformed, discoloured or scratched. Replace the bottle within 24 months from the date of purchase.
• Do not transport the soda maker with the cylinder attached.
• Do not install a cylinder whose temperature is too high or too low — leave it indoors for a few hours to reach room temperature slowly. Do not puncture, throw or burn the cylinder.
• Use in dry rooms at room temperature only, never outdoors; household use only. Keep away from heat, direct sunlight, stoves, ovens, burners and open flames.
• If the housing is damaged or the appliance was dropped, do not use it until it has been checked by a professional. Do not modify or repair it yourself and do not use parts not recommended by the manufacturer.

Cleaning and care

• Before and after each use rinse the bottle with water not exceeding 40 °C.
• Wipe the nozzle and the exterior of the cylinder housing with a clean, soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents, strong detergents or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not wash the bottle in a dishwasher and do not immerse the soda maker in water.
• Dry all parts thoroughly. Remove the cylinder before storing and keep the soda maker in a cool, dry place.

Compliance and disposal

• The parts in contact with water comply with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and the plastic parts with Regulation (EU) No 10/2011. The product is covered by the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988.
• The soda maker is not an electrical appliance, so the CE mark and the WEEE Directive do not apply to it, even though such marks are printed on the packaging.
• Dispose of the carbon dioxide cylinder according to the instructions printed on the cylinder itself — usually it is returned to the seller in exchange for a full one.
