Installation
- Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that will hold its weight, against a wall. Do not place it where heat, moisture or steam are generated, or near combustible materials.
- Leave 20 cm of free space above the oven, 10 cm behind it and 5 cm on both sides. Do not cover the openings and do not remove the feet or the rear and side distance holders.
- The oven must be earthed and the socket must remain easily accessible.
- Do not operate the oven without the glass turntable, the roller ring and the shaft in their proper positions.
- For indoor household use only. Do not use outdoors and do not operate the oven with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
How to use
- Put the food in the oven and close the door, select a power level with the power dial, then set the time with the timer dial — the oven starts as soon as the timer is turned.
- For times under 2 minutes, first turn the timer past the 2-minute mark and then bring it back to the time you need.
- To stop cooking, press the door release button or open the door by the handle.
- Always return the timer to zero if you take the food out before the set time is over, or when the oven is not in use.
Important — safety
- Never try to run the oven with the door open and never tamper with the door interlocks — this can cause harmful exposure to microwave energy.
- Do not use the oven if the door, the door seals, the sealing surfaces, the hinges or the latches are damaged, or if there are dents in the cavity or on the door.
- Do not operate the oven empty. Do not store paper, utensils or food in the cavity when the oven is not in use, and do not place anything on top of the oven while it is running.
- Do not heat liquids or food in sealed containers — they may explode. Do not heat eggs in their shells or whole hard-boiled eggs; they burst even after heating has ended.
- Beverages can boil over suddenly after being removed (delayed eruptive boiling), so handle the container carefully.
- Pierce foods with a heavy skin — potatoes, squashes, apples, chestnuts — before cooking.
- Stir or shake the contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars and check the temperature before serving to avoid burns.
- Do not use metal dishes, aluminium foil, dishes with metal trim, or recycled paper products. Use heat-resistant glass or ceramics, microwave-safe plastic, or kitchen paper.
- Dishes get hot from the food — use oven gloves. Steam escapes when a lid is opened.
- The appliance may be used by children from 8 years of age and by persons with reduced capabilities only under supervision or after proper instruction. Children must not play with the appliance. Accessible parts get hot during use.
- Do not remove the cover — it provides protection against microwave radiation. Repairs, including replacing the lamp, may only be carried out by a qualified service.
- If smoke appears, switch the appliance off or unplug it and keep the door closed to stifle any flames.
Care
- Unplug the oven before cleaning. Clean the inside with a damp cloth and a mild detergent; avoid sprays and harsh cleaners. A steam cleaner must not be used.
- Clean the door on both sides, the seals and the adjacent parts often. Do not let the control panel get wet — leave the door open while cleaning it so the oven cannot start accidentally.
- The glass turntable can be washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Clean the roller ring and the cavity floor regularly to avoid excessive noise, and put the ring back in its proper position.
- To remove odours, microwave a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon for 5 minutes.
Compliance and disposal
- The appliance complies with Directives 2014/35/EU (LVD), 2014/30/EU (EMC) and 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and carries the CE mark. It is Group 2 Class B ISM equipment.
- WEEE (2012/19/EU): do not dispose of the appliance with household waste — take it to an electrical and electronic waste collection point or return it to the seller.
