Choosing the right cookware
- Only cookware with an induction-suitable base can be used – look for the induction symbol on the packaging or the base of the pan.
- Magnet test: hold a magnet against the base of the pan – if it is attracted, the pan is suitable. Without a magnet: put water in the pan, switch the hob on and check after 3 minutes whether the water has heated up.
- Not suitable: pure stainless steel, aluminium or copper without a magnetic base, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic and earthenware. Cookware with jagged edges or a curved base must not be used either.
- The minimum base diameter is 12 cm. The base must be smooth, sit flat against the glass and match the size of the cooking zone; always centre the pan on the zone.
- Always lift pans off the hob – do not slide them, or they may scratch the glass.
How to use
- With the hob plugged in, place a suitable pan in the centre of the cooking zone – the power indicator lights up.
- Press the On/off button.
- Press Power/Temp. to select the cooking mode – power or temperature. The digital display shows the selected value.
- Use + and − to set the power or the temperature.
- Timer: while cooking, press Timer and set with + or − when the appliance should switch off. One press changes the time by 1 minute, a long press by 10 minutes. The time is confirmed when no button is pressed for 5 seconds.
- Button lock: pressing Lock once blocks all buttons except On/off. To unlock, hold Lock for 3 seconds.
- Pressing On/off at any time returns the appliance to waiting mode. To switch off, press On/off again and unplug it.
Important — safety
- Do not heat or overheat an empty pot. If the glass surface is cracked, switch the appliance off immediately – there is a risk of electric shock. Do not unplug the appliance immediately after cooking: at least 15 seconds are needed for it to cool down.
- Do not plug the hob into a socket where several other appliances are already plugged in.
- Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if the plug does not fit the socket. Do not modify or repair the appliance yourself – the supply cord may only be replaced by qualified technicians.
- Do not use near an open flame or in wet places. Place the appliance on a stable, even surface.
- Do not place metallic objects – knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans or aluminium foil – on the top surface or under the bottom of the appliance.
- Allow sufficient space around the cooking area – a minimum of 5 to 10 cm to walls and other items. Do not block the air intake or the exhaust vent.
- Never use the appliance on low-heat-resistant materials (carpet, vinyl) or on a metallic surface.
- Do not place paper between the pan and the appliance – the paper may burn.
- Caution! The surface remains hot for a period of time after use.
- The appliance affects items containing or attracting magnetic fields – radios, televisions, banking cards and cassette tapes. Keep them away.
- Keep the appliance out of children's reach. It may be used by children aged 8 and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities only under supervision or after instruction and once they understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance; cleaning and user maintenance may only be done by children older than 8 and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8.
Error codes

|---|---|---|
| E0 | No cookware, unsuitable cookware material or base diameter less than 12 cm | Place a suitable induction pan on the zone |
| E1 | Voltage lower than 85 V | Wait until the voltage returns to normal |
| E2 | Voltage higher than 275 V | Wait until the voltage returns to normal |
| E3 | Surface sensor open or short circuit | Contact a professional repair service |
| E4 | Surface temperature over 280 °C | Uneven pan base – remove the pan and let the hob cool down |

| E6 | IGBT sensor open or short circuit | Contact a professional repair service |
| E7 | Surface sensor failure | Contact a professional repair service |
| EC | Light board and main board communication failure | Contact a professional repair service |
The sound of the cooling fan during operation and for a while after switching off is normal – it protects the electronics from overheating, and the hob does not need to be disconnected from the mains because of it. A low humming at a high heat setting and crackling from some pans are normal as well.
