Juskys Nordpol 24 l — cool box for car and home

The Juskys Nordpol thermoelectric cool box in blue is a practical companion for camping, picnics, fishing, road trips and long summer days at the lake. It cools drinks and packaged food, or keeps a meal warm on cooler-season trips. Two power options — 12 V in the car and 220–240 V at home — make it genuinely portable, and both cords tuck into the storage compartment under the lid.

Cool or warm — a simple switch

A single slide switch selects the mode:

• COLD — cooling mode, the status light turns green
• HOT — keep-warm mode, the status light turns red
• OFF — the appliance is switched off

To change the mode, switch the appliance off and wait 30 minutes first.

How a thermoelectric cool box works — please read

This appliance has no compressor and does not hold a set temperature — it only cools the air by a certain difference from the ambient temperature. How quickly it cools depends on the ambient temperature and how full the box is. It is not suitable for medicines or anything else that needs a precisely maintained temperature, and it does not replace a household fridge. There is no refrigerant inside; C₅H₁₀ listed in the data table is the foam agent used for the insulation.

Getting the best results

• Use the box in a well-ventilated place protected from the sun.
• Let hot food cool down before putting it in.
• Do not open the lid more often or for longer than necessary.
• For hygiene and easy cleaning, put loose food such as meat or cheese into suitable containers.
• After transport or relocation condensation may form inside — leave the appliance switched off for about 2 hours.

Important — manufacturer's safety instructions

• Never use the 220–240 V and 12 V connections at the same time.
• Connect the appliance only to an earthed socket protected by a circuit breaker. Do not connect it through multiple plugs or power strips and do not use a timer-switched or remote-controlled socket.
• An extension cable may be used only if undamaged, fully uncoiled, no longer than 3 m and with a cross-section of at least 1.5 mm². Do not kink or crush the power cables; the plug must be accessible at all times.
• Do not cover the appliance during operation and do not insert any objects into the ventilation openings. Keep the lid closed while it is running and do not leave it unattended.
• Do not store explosive or flammable substances or liquids in the appliance and do not operate any electrical devices inside it. Do not use the appliance near flammable objects.
• Do not rinse the appliance with water. Unplug it before cleaning and before transport.
• Do not jump or romp on or in the product — risk of injury and burns.
• Do not modify the product — this causes injury and damage and voids the warranty. Use only original parts approved by the manufacturer; repairs must be carried out by qualified personnel.
• Transport and store the product in an upright position only; place it down carefully and do not drop it.
• The product may be used by adults and by children over 6 years under adult supervision. Persons with physical or mental disabilities, children and pregnant women may only use it under supervision. The product is not a toy, and it is not suitable for continuous or commercial operation.
